When many people set the Word program tabs on the date, used Times Roman font, then typed the text of the document, it lined up precisely like the alleged original. The chances of this being the case on a typewriter used in 1971 are about the same as a monkey typing a Shakespearean sonnet on a first try.

where are we on this? i haven't been following the story closely, is it confirmed a forgery?

Anybody who types it in MS Word finds it is an exact copy of the document. MS typeface and spacing did not exist on typewriters in 1972.
