"I don't recall Bush ever lying about it nor blaming it on someone else."

He denied on several occasions that he had ever been arrested. In fact, when he filled out his application to be governor, he said he had never been arrested. When it came out, he then blamed partisan politics. True, it wasn't an individual.

What makes it all so pointless is that he had admitted a problem with alcohol and that he was fairly wild in his younger days.

CJ, This is sort of like the DUI conviction. He lied about it until someone dug up the truth.

I don't recall Bush ever lying about it nor blaming it on someone else.
