The type of thing an expert would look at was posted upstream - the four has a closed top and no "foot," which he says is found ONLY in Times New Roman and that is used ONLY on computers.

If so, it's an obvious forgery. The next question is "cui bono"?

You don't even need that, just a manifying glass. At most. Typewriters have keys that strike the page and leave dents. It's easy to feel and see.

That's fine if you have an original document. The memos in question are copies, and appear to have been copied and recopied several times.

See the post above regarding Philip Bouffard, a document and typeface expert who willing to state that there is a 90% or higher chance the documents are forged.
