Just watched it. One of the documents used superscripts. Do that with a Selectric

Later Selectric models did have superscripts. But you couldn't do 8 point font - the machine was mechanically set up for a certain spacing between lines.

Selectrics you can do superscripts by swapping the font balls, but don't have proportionate spacing.

Executives have proportionate spacing but you can't swap the font sizes.
