R. D. Yup, that would be a Rube Goldberg way of doing it, albeit still a remote possibility. Agreed, it would be a very stupid thing to do, knowing the documents would be subject to close scrutiny. No, OCR software would not keep the extraneous "age" spots. However, the "age" spots could have been created via multiple iterations through a copier--again a very stupid thing to do, knowing the documents would be subject to close scrutiny. But then, WRT Kerry's handlers, I don't think we are talking about the brightest bulbs on the porch. - Holly
