I had no problem at all with my install (from Windows Update) on my XP Pro. Usually I do. <g>

You may want to review Langa for interesting experiences with SP2. Doesn't seem to be any rationale as to when it installs with or without problems. I'll still wait for awhile.

Wow.

I installed it when it came out on my laptop and it went fine. I waited a while and installed it on my desktop yesterday and it also went fine. I guess I was lucky.

Thanks for letting us know your experience and glad it didn't hose your whole system. I had to uninstall SP2 the first time I tried it. The second time I "upgraded" everything went fine.
