Absolutely.

Glad you liked Barnett, Ski. I regard him as Moses coming down from Mt Sinai. :>) If you want to know which way things are going, read his book, "The Pentagon's New Map."

I wish he could brief Bush. He has briefed about two paygrades down. This material was included in his last brief I saw on C-SPAN. Two hours and 40 minutes. CB and I watched it TWICE. He has a "pitch for the Angels."

The similarities between today's Al Qaedistas and international Marxist (later Leninist) "revolutionary" movements of the 19-20th centuries are rather obvious.

One major difference though. Marxism has an internal contradiction (the promised paradise on earth) that helped bring down communism when it failed to deliver.

I'm not sure Islamo-facism has any internal contradictions. It just seems like pure evil to me.
