Therefore, I expect Rather to go over the situation toward the end of his broadcast tomorrow, apologize to Bush, and take himself off the air

News programs have weathered hoaxes before, though rarely as obvious as this one. He may make himself scarce for a little while, but I doubt he'll go off the air.

That would be the right & proper thing to do. However,
considering how over the top the liberal MSM & the looney
left have become, I think they Rather will continue to do
as Kerry has done with the Swift Boat Vets - smear the
blogs & hope that the MSM will come to his rescue & make
it go away.

I stopped watching 60 Minutes after thinking it was the cat's pajamas when I learned the truth about the Audi report on "unintended acceleration." You'll recall that after much ado, it was determined that idiots who pressed the accelerator when they intended to brake caused the problem.

In the meantime, Audi, a fine brand, got hammered in the US market for years.
