Let's face one hard fact: the Republicans are better at politics than the Democrats. They are better at coming up with a coherent message, and sticking to that message. They are focused, organized, on message, dedicated, and absolutely unscrupulous in their dogma. Based on facts and results, the Democrats should be ahead in ALL races, from President down to dog catcher. But, because they are weak at getting out ANY message, they leave themselves open to the Big Rove Lie Machine. Rove is probably like Brad Pitt's character in Troy, completely unchallenged: is there no one else?! The only Democrat who can beat them at their game is Clinton, who drowns them in maple syrup.
