Yes, I thought that comment summed up this watershed event very well. The speed of the synthesis and "vetting" of information and its dissemination throughout the blogosphere and beyond was just incredible. the Before long, though, this sort of thing will be commonplace. And the "dinosaur media", as Powerline put it, won't know what hit them.

BTW, Wizbang has an interesting comparison of the August 1, 1972 memo and Microsoft's Times New Roman font as captured from Word 2003 on Windows XP, plus some September 5, 1973 text from a document Powerline linked. No comparison. Case closed.

Amen! I am astonished at what I now know thanks to the
internet & the advent of blogs. And I really have to
wonder how much pure BS the networks & the print media fed
me over the years.
