It's not as if he's too young to remember what typewritten documents look like!

He certainly isn't. He looks as old as dirt. Must have forgotten to put on his reading glasses when he looked at them. But what I'd like to know, in addition to who supplied those memos, is when they supplied them. Don Hewitt put the kibosh on this story months ago, but then he retired. Have those memos been kicking around 60 Minutes for months? If so, in all that time, this "verification" was the best they could do?

It really shows how badly he wanted it to be true. If those documents are really forged, it will show exactly how much Rather wanted it to be true... If CBS would do this, perhaps the citizens throughout the world will at least know that some of the media is willing to do anything ....

If I carried that further......could have Soros and group perhaps put in some funds in a bank someplace?????????
