I wrote the truth. It is rhetoric like what you wrote that is damaging the GOP. That doesn't mean you are an extremist, but what you wrote is extreme.

Both the Republican and Democratic parties are mainstream parties. By necessity they are very close on most issues. When someone disparages either party entirely, that is an extremist comment.

I've defended the GOP here (although there are too many extremists in the party - especially the religious fundamentalists). Senators like Hagel, Lugar and McCain are mainstream rational people. They would agree with me that your comment: "The entire dem party is rotted from within" is absurd. Your comments misrepresenting Kerry's positions on the World Court and the UN are equally outrageous. Extreme comments like yours serve no purpose in rational debate.

Kerry will be a fine President. It is also too bad that you misinterpreted his anti-war comments.
