The problems with records is that we bombed the hell out of their military installations and much evidence may have been destroyed. The second issue is that the records may be inaccurate... There is some evidence Saddam's subordinates may have doctored records to make it appear that they were accomplishing exactly what it was Saddam wanted, when in fact, they were unable to do so. Why? Well, to save their heads, for one reason... Finally, we can't even keep good records here in the Good Old USA. The flap about Bush and Kerry's military records illustrates that. Nuclear power plants "lose" spent fuel, anthrax is unaccounted for... paperwork sucks worldwide... Saddam evidently documented everything very well,
