Sounds like a good plan to me. With so many crews still working on Charley and Frances if we lose power due to Ivan it could take a while to get it back. Be nice to be in an air conditioned hotel room while they are working on it.

MoneyPenny,

I suggest you relocate to the Townsend for the duration of the hurricane season.

Wishing you the best of luck.

TH

PS. Just bought 600 square of 18/18 blue pearl for $1300 bucks! Someone in the Detroit area made a little mistake.

<<Garage doors, if they exist are sprayed with the insurance companies name. >>

My son-the-insurance-adjuster-who-is--normally-supposed-to-live/work--in-Atlanta is currently stationed at the home of a coworker in Tampa and has been there since moving away from Ft. Myers (sp?) many days ago. He says he's working 7 days a week right now.

He said Tampa only got wind from the last hurricane and on Saturday told us "confidently" that he would be back in Atlanta on Sept. 22.

We're wondering where he gets his predictions and what kind of nut is controlling his work schedule right down to the date and time of his Florida departure. Sounds to me like he has plenty to keep him and his company busy in Florida for a long time, provided he lives thru it all.

To get some perspective on it all, we laugh at his news that his latest Atlanta case was a woman who reported a stolen car from her hotel in Atlanta. He went to talk to the hotel manager and was told the woman had been hauled off by the police for having a lot of drugs in her hotel room, so it was questionable as to whether a car had actually been stolen or simply been traded off in a drug deal.

I think Florida claims are more important right now, but whadda I no?
