nuts. almost all islamists in the ME hate any american politician. the only american politicians the ME would like would be those that are pushovers and those who faint at the sight of blood.

9/11 did not "create good will." it caused temporary sorry that the usa had so many people killed. same thing for russia with all the kids getting killed by the islamofascists. sorrow is what the world feels for russia -- not good will.

The Dems should be exploiting this aspect of Bush like mad. Some, like Moore, do understand, but their attack is far out of proportion to the weakness in Bush they seek to exploit.

The Dems are showing the political skills of mollusks, and all this has to be put at Kerry's feet. I cannot vote for someone who is so politically dense

Good points. The whole Bush Admin lacks a diplomacy gene, and we are all paying for it. But the current version of Democratic Bush-hating is the mirror image of Republican Clinton-hating: it goes so far overboard into invective, caricature, and outright falsehoods that reasonable people recoil from it and it loses what force it might have had, had it been more focused & attuned to reality.

Makes me wonder how Kerry ever got elected Senator

Kinda like wondering how someone as politically clueless as Saddam got to the top of the heap in Iraq. In each case, local knowledge did not translate into larger politcal frameworks.

carranza2, Bush is so hated, and feared, by a lot of the rest of the world because he is strong, means what he says, and is ready to back up his words. That eliminates the possibility of swaying him from his resolve, and luring him into a false feeling of security, and the power of the UN. They would like nothing better than to make the US just another pawn on the global chess board.

He will not allow that to happen, and for that resolve, I salute him.
