Well lets say it was a Republican set up. All they did was supply them the rope in the form of a poorly done forgery. They are the fools that tied the noose and threw themselves off the roof.

In the parlance of criminal law, its not entrapment if all you do is give someone the opportunity to do what he was predisposed to do in any event.
