Nice Mike. It seems you believe that the people who are on our side are brave, freedom loving people who represent the "inherent" love of the things we give them. They are, however, "intimidated" by those "bad guys."

The "bad guys," conversely, never seem to be intimidated by the "good guys." Why is that?

Hey, maybe the bad guys are 1; in the majority or, 2; strong in their beliefs while the "good guys" are, at best, weak.

Or maybe most Iraqis would like to be free, but many of them know that democracy in Iraq will not mean tolerance, especially for minorities like the Kurds and Shi'ites?

Or maybe there ARE things that mean more to most of them than "freedom?" Things like religious devotion and their allegiance to Muslims who are being killed by American tanks, guns, mortars, artillery, bombs and gunships.

One thing we know for sure; we better not assume a "silent majority" of support in Iraq while those voluntarily voting with their lives are voting against us.
