I honestly don't know how people would get any facts at all were it not for Fox News. People who rely on the other media outlets are flooded with propaganda and, as we've seen the last two days, out-and-out lies, even forgeries, aren't beyond the limits.

Here is what a caller who says she is the daughter of Ben Barnes said on Monica Crowley's show: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BARNES: I love my father very much, but he's doing this for purely political reasons. He is a big Kerry fund-raiser and he is writing a book also. And [the Bush story] is what he's leading the book off with. ... He denied this to me in 2000 that he did get Bush out [of Vietnam service]. Now he's saying he did. What a big surprise! Did the guy do it for political reasons? What was my first clue? Sometimes, Jozef, for a smart man, you can look pretty foolish. Do I think he lied? Nope. I think that's the way things were done in TX.......the good ole boy network.......at least back then. Our history books are replete with that kind of garbage.
