They want to change the subject- -badly.

If CBS tries to claim it was taken in, can the charge be made legally that it was it being incumbent upon CBS to verify the authenticity of what it broadcasts? Is CBS liable? To whom? Bush? Bush is a public figure, so malice would be needed.

Do FCC regs get into it? Equal time for Bush to refute?
