"Almost a year"? Yeah, using the Kerry Kalendar. You know, the same one that he used to determine that he served for "four years."

Actually, the gap in Bush attending drills/training days was from late spring (April or May, I forget which) to October. That's 4-6 months, depending on the exact dates. And as has already been pointed out to you, he met his obligation for days of service that year, as he did every year he was in TANG.
