Thank you Nadine for defending us OLD people. I am up there with Mike and have a lot of respect for him. Trouble with us OLD people is we lived through some periods of our history that a lot of people posting on S.I didn't . And the times they do change. When events such as Vietnam come up... I had students who pleaded Conscientious Objector rather than serve. Other's fled to Canada.. It didn't seem unpatriotic then. The feelings of the people were different. This is one reason I cannot see hashing over all the stuff that occurred 30 years ago. It was a mistake to start the tit for tat stuff. I was uncomfortable when 60 Minutes did that piece.. Who cares anyway. Regards,
