Since the documents are now the basis for claims that GWB's service was not honorable,
I would like to point out that missing a medical appointment was a big nothing.

Most military orgs with a LT Col as commander are 600 or more men...some exceed 1,000. In SF and flying units, each individual had at least one physical and two dental appointments annually. In an 800 man unit, that is 200 appointments monthly or about 10 per duty day. Add to that follow-up appts and sick call.

If you missed an appointment it was rescheduled. If you had no excuse, you may perhaps get your ass chewed and then it was rescheduled. No serviceman ever got formal military punishment for that.

Claiming that a LT Col was micro-managing these appointments and issuing written orders to comply is just ridiculous. This was the work of clerks and NCOs.
