Sarge, people like Stephan and sadly about half of America have completely lost their way on this planet and have turned so dark in their hearts and minds that they are almost spiritually dead and have no feelings for their fellow man. They can no longer see the forest for the trees and are looking, in complete fear, for a terrorist around every corner. They are brainwashed by the Murdoch media (and others like CNN) so that they cannot think straight.

He speaks of dirty work. There is no dirty work as far as Canadians are concerned except what those fascists down south drag us into. Canadians, Mexicans, Central Americans and South Americans don't need armies for one simple reason.....there are no aggressors in this hemisphere and there are no enemies to worry about. Notice that he couldn't explain why Costa Rica doesn't have an army? It is because their neighbors have no designs on them and they do not need an army to oppress its own people like some other countries in Central America and South America.
The history of this hemisphere shows many countries with cruel dictators in the recent past were installed as puppets of America and American companies in order to smash any opposition to the American agenda. Need I list all these dictators?

Funny, Stephan lives on the west side of Vancouver near a center of higher learning namely The University of British Columbia and in one of the most liberal, expensive, literate, privileged, educated areas in Canada. Red Necks like him are extremely rare so there is no danger of his vision of Canada taking hold but like you suggested, if it ever comes to that then I will leave as what does the light have to do with his type of darkness

Sarge a very well stated post.

<Your words were "I almost wish Canada to get a terrorist attack to wake up the Liberal lefties that so populate our country." A real pity that your politics require such a deed to further your agenda.>

You make an excellent point. That is an example of someone blinded by fear, hate and an agenda.
