You brought up the fact that their were other reports. I took you as having actual knowledge of them. If you don't can we be sure there where multiple reports about the important events, or that if there where that the ones written by Kerry or that where favorable to Kerry where given precidence. Long before this issue came up I've read reports of "medal inflation" in Vietnam. Perhaps this could have been more of the same. I do think that its unlikely that all of his medals had no basis in fact, and I probably wouldn't have even questioned the uncertain ones if I wasn't responding to the counterattack. If everyone else dropped the subject I probably would as well, Kerry did at least honorably serve his country in Vietnam, and the whole Vietnam thing distracts us all from the issues that matter now, but I doubt the issue will go away until the election, and maybe no even then.
