I noticed you ignored the first part about signing off on releasing all the relevant records. That is in my opinion more important. The journals might be useful in getting to the truth as well but are probably not as useful and also might have information that isn't relevant that would he might have legitimate reason to want to keep private.

I don't think we need to know how often he fantasized makeing out with the bunnies at the USO show. Private journals should remain private, at least a score of years after the dude passes on.

I think it depends on whether you're a Republican or a Democrat.
