This is where the concept I call empathy comes into play. If you examine the information from the perspective of the information gatherer, there is much less room for disagreement.

This is not an absolute test for truth, as I have said, but it can identify arguments which cannot fit the supplied information. Therefore it's more of a test for falsity.
