I am so glad that Rather got the chance to stand by his story before Hodges, the man who allegedly verified the veracity of the content of the memos, stated publicly that the memos were fraudulent, that CBS lied to him on the phone, told him that the memos were handwritten, and that he told them "well, if that's what he said, that's what he meant."
