"is a detailed analysis by one of the top type analysts in the country. "

Problem 1 with Dr. Bouffard's analysis is that Times Roman dates back to 1931. Problem 2, the type face on the documents in question is a close match to Bold Face 2 used on the IBM Executive. Which, oddly enough, does proportional spacing. Problem 3, IBM very commonly used fonts that made the character '4' without a foot and closed at the top. Problem 4, look at the memos. You can see slight variations in the alignment of the characters, some are slightly higher than others. This, while not impossible, is very difficult to do with a word processor. It, however, is common on a typewriter that hasn't been adjusted recently.

I won't go into the unlikelihood of someone developing a program named "C:\TYPE"...

Tim

Thanks for this post. It pretty much closes the door to the notion these documents may be real.

Unless you believe OJ is innocent.

Also the purported author's widow and son do not think he wrote the memos neither does Rufus Martin, who was the personnel chief for the claimed author during the time in question.

This means nothing...........I know many wives and offspring who don't have a clue what their husbands and fathers are up to..........Hillary and Chelsea come to mind.
