92 percent of the signals in the database are sell signals. 91 percent in the Nasdaq 100 list. There may be any number of factors, such as the 21-day stochastic crossing down, non-confirmation by volume, etc., that contribute to the individual signals. The techs were the last group to move up as their number within the NDX has been declining for some time. Retail, transportation and wireless issues have increased in number, and had already made significant moves. Number of sell signals actually declined in the overall database since the basic materials, which had been leading, declined on Friday.
