The authenticity of a signature on a copied document is irrelevant. It's very easy to scan a genuine signature and paste it on a fake document, then print and copy the document to cover your tracks.

Its beginning to smell a lot like "Tailwind".

Nice to see someone else still remembers Tailwind.

I don't understand how the signatures can be so different. Since cbs had xerox/fax copies, a very simple scan, cut and paste would have produced IDENTICAL signatures on these memos. This is very EASY to do.

It just doesn't make any sense unless the source of the memos is an amateur or he/she wanted this to be discovered.

But that cbsnews could not find someone in their organization who has microsoft word and perform the same litmus test on the text outline and spacing makes no sense either.

I assume the fallback scenario for the bush camp is that the bush camp is behind this deliberate hoax in a clever reverse psychology conspiracy. If so, Karl Rove's brain (the yet to be disclosed shadowy true brain pulling the strings of the man who some regard as W's brain) must be behind this evil and sinister trap. ;)
