Sen. Miller spoke for a lot of Democrats, ex-Democrats, and would-be Democrats. Like my father. A life-long Democrat, can't bring himself to vote Republican, can't vote for the Presidential candidates the Party has put up for decades now. Perot gave him an option for two elections.

This is why Republicans control the Presidency and both houses of Congress and why they will continue to. At times I think the Democrat Party needs a landslide burial to clean out the rot. But they've had that - McGovern, Dukakis. The Party learned a little from that - the DLC was founded and southern Democrat governors who could sell thenmselves as moderate won a few Presidential elections. But the overall problem wasn't fixed. The national Democratic party remains one dominated by east and west coast liberal elites with disdain for the heartland, its people and its values. Ultimately disdain for America, itself.

Yeah those fools in the far right wing can't get the hate out of their platform and this year in particular, people are SICK of it

I see. And you don't think the ABB campaigns and the protests in NYC and the vitriol spewed on television talk shows represent hate of Bush on the left?
