Because of that, I’m starting to hope Bush wins, though I’d prefer to see him faced by a small Democratic majority in the legislature, which would limit the damage he can do.

I think the more astute Democrats are secretly hoping that Bush will win. Otherwise, Kerry will be blamed for everything that goes wrong in Iraq.

Lindy is hoping that the Republicans pick up 6 Senate seats, but it could easily go the other way and result in a tie or a slight majority for the Democrats. We'll see.

What person of honesty, honor, intelligence, and integrity would ever put up with the process it takes to win a Presidential election?

Would you? I sure wouldn't.

Our system of picking national leaders weeds out anybody with the character to be a good national leader.
