Nano"-Nuanced? Bribed, or Coerced?
That's Richard Holbrooke's definition on the differences between John Kerry's position early on that it was right to disarm and remove Saddam Hussein, and his current position that it's the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong.

With a straight face, Holbrooke maintained that Kerry has been consistant, and it's Bush that has changed and shifted his positions on Iraq.

Killer question of the interview was when Chris Wallace reminded Holbrooke of Kerry's comments about the "Coalition of the Bribed and Coerced". Wallace followed this up with the questions "So, Mr. Ambassador, Great Britain and Tony Blair; are they a member of the bribed, or of the coerced?" He then repeated that question with Italy and Poland.

Ouch.

Yeah, Senator, is Britain one of the Coerced, or the Bribed? How about Australia? Coerced, or Bribed?

Barnes makes more sense to me than Bill Burkett, the "disgruntled" former Guard officer. Burkett at least would know the protocol for writing TANG memos.
