That's fine. You still have not defended your church. So at this point, the claim that it is guilty of protecting child molesters, that it is a corrupt and filthy place of horror still stands. I don't personally believe these things about your church, but I think calling people "bigots" just because they believe them is a sure sign of extreme insecurity on your part.

People reject my beliefs all the time. They call me names all the time. They ridicule my church all the time. And in none of this have I ever thought of them as "bigots." These folks are just being free to be what they are. It is their right. By using my freedom to be what I am I may over time convince some of them that my beliefs and church are not exactly what they appear to be at a cursory glance. I certainly am not so insecure that I might try to defend my church by calling heathens "bigots." That is worthless. It is precisely what the left does when people speak validly against their sacred cows.

No one is a bigot just because he holds firmly to a certain belief. You are abusing language to defend yourself - and that is no defense at all.
