"Niether candidate has offered solutions to problems that have haunted the U.S. since 1980...."

Kerry's vision was stated in his Senate testimony in 1971. Basically what he said is that the world's problems are the fault of the US and its military. I believe he still holds those views.

President Bush since 9/11 has waged a war on terror. He has finally redefined this war as being against radical Islam. He has stated repeatedly that he will continue this fight until we win. No withdrawing. Kerry on the other hand wants to coalesce with the French and wage a "sensitive" battle.
Bush has said he wants to fight there (Iraq+++) rather than here. Kerry would be satisfied to wage a battle in US District Court in New York City.

So I find your premise FALSE. Listen up!!!!!
