SEOUL, South Korea (CNN) -- U.S. and South Korean officials are still trying to determine the cause of a huge cloud that appeared over North Korea last week.

On Sunday South Korean media reported seeing satellilte images of a four km (two mile) wide mushroom over the border area between North Korea and China, in Yanggang Province.
