I too recently found out that my great great grandmother was Jewish. Never mentioned in my family. I suspect that is because I never heard a disparaging word about Jews, blacks, Hispanics or others at all while growing up. (There was some anger about the Japanese on my father's part that he carried around for awhile after WW2, but he loved their lifestyle and fashioned his home in that style) I do look very white/Anglo, but that can be attributed to the strong Norwegian/Irish genes I was also told in 1970 that my teeth are like Native American teeth.....two sets. (no, I don't have fangs -g-, but a very small set behind my Incisors and Canines) My great Grandfather was an Indian agent for the Colvilles. I've really wondered about that one. We certainly a mixed bag here in America. We've found out that some cultures/people don't give a second thought to killing their own. I think that is one thing that really floored allot of us when 9/11 happened. Goes against the grain.
