Charles' friend vs Charles's friend I went to it because that was that was the way the papers have been printing it. It's the first thing in the manual. Cleaning up a verbal quote for style reasons is expected. People don't talk the way they write. I certainly am no paragon of virtue. Look at how long I went on capitalizing everything. Just a bad habit. I still have to watch "set" for "sit." I plan to spend a few minutes every day working my way though the first couple of chapters. Those cover the most common errors. I wish SI had a full "spell check" installed.
