He was probably at the convention, though I suspect that he was keeping a low profile. He has already run a television ad featuring his "hug" with GWB. Who knows, he may end of endorsing Bush in a last ditch effort to retain his seat. LOL The most significant numbers in that poll are the favorability ratings: Thune at 65% and Daschle at 52%. Thune is almost as well known in SD as Daschle, so those numbers are not going to move much. Advantage: Thune.
