Incidentally, I think if you are suspended you can still PM and you can still probably administer your own thread, though I am not sure about either of those things since I haven't ever been suspended.

It would be interesting, I think, now that the new SI allows one to see who has been banned from threads, for someone with too much time on their hands to look at the ten most active moderated political threads, check out who is banned from them, and see whether the liberals ban more conservatives, or the conservatives ban more liberals. (People banned by both sides should be excluded).

Which side really believes in free speech? Which side is more open to open discussion?

I dont have the time to carry out the calculation, but I think it would be of interest.
