CB, I'm already using the default font. I verified it on the toolbar. Not that the font change either of the differences I identified--the superscript and the indentation.

I haven't fiddled with the automatic bulleting function, either. I just fished around and the default seems to be to be to indent bulleted lists. I don't know the app well enough to swear to this but it shows no custom formats defined so I assume I'm using the default. (I remember being annoyed at not being able to control the indentation once before when I used Word. WordPerfect, which I'm used to, lets you control the formatting of bulleted lists easily. Or perhaps I'm just used to the way WordPerfect does it.)
