"It's amazing to me the the word "neoconservatice" is never mentioned in this election." And why should they be? For Kerry to go after them risks distraction, he is running against Bush, not the neocons. If their appealing, however flawed, vision of how they were going to convert the Middle East to Western-style democracies via the domino effect, then they would be trumpeted as geniuses. Since that vision hasn't proved fruition, in fact is beginning to look like a Force 5 screwup, they are keeping a low profile. Unfortunately for Iraq and our servicemen, Iraq is proving to be a very stout domino...
