September 13, 2004--Forty-nine percent (49%) of American voters believe George W. Bush is a better leader than John Kerry. <font color=red>That's down one from a week ago and four points from two weeks ago.

<font color=black>Thirty-seven percent (37%) take the opposite view and believe the Senator from Massachusetts is a better leader than the President. For the Senator, <font color=red>that number is unchanged from a week ago.<font color=black>
