You have a point there and I agree.

My point is that the rule of the game is basically set to the developed countries' advantage. Unless China develops its own standards and get treated evenly, it will NEVER EVER catch up. It will be technologically colonized, and forever so, by the multinational corps.

They were NOT hollow to begin with, they were hollowed during the process of so-called REFORM. Leave millions of previously-employed SOE workers holding empty bags.
