That's the NRA vote, not the ira. It was a stupid thing passed 10 years ago as a feel good thing. AKs and M15s were a one trigger pull, one boolet fired thing. Ok, they got banned and came back with another name and 10 round magazines instead of 20 round magazines. How many rounds do you have to fire to rob a liquor store? Back in '96, during the ban, two guys wearing body armor damn near outshot 350 LA cops in a bank robbery. The bad guys had banned guns, like that worked. Cops had to go to a sporting goods store to buy bigger guns.
