Not sure what 'axe' they are supposed to be grinding.... We have a term for this. It's called "willful blindness". [They seem to be arguing that Bush is not REALLY a 'conservative' (certainly a fair interpretation considering his big spending, big deficit, and Big Government ways).] "Wars are expensive. BOTH the White House's OMB study of Bush spending, AND the Congress CBO study, showed that LESS then HALF of all the new spending could be related to defense, war, or 9-11. Just considering the half that is left after you take out all the 'defense' stuff... Bush is STILL spending like a drunken sailor, at a rate of increase GREATER then Clinton's. I don't see any 'willful blindness' in the article. They appear to bust BOTH candidates' myths.
