And when you can fly an aircraft (..say a Cessna 150..) off the ground and back on again without killing yourself, GDubya and I may actually give a schmidt what you have to say. In the meantime, put on your Love Boat admiral's cap, go for a ride in a speedboat - and you too will be qualified to be "..Kommandant-in-Chief..".

The war of his generation was the Cold War. How is patrolling the southern borders from the Soviets being Afraid to go to the Cold War? Flying was a full time job Bush's first two years. Seems to me if somebody was trying to get out of something, they would have found a slot with no active duty for training for two years.
