Chip: I never said I did not think paper trading was useful. I am just not high on paper trading contest. In fact, for new traders I think it very wise to first paper trade for a spell before real trading. Of course, once you make the transition to real trading, real time execution impediments come into to play including the mental challenge of dealing with the possibility of "real" losses.

I'd have blown you "and Don" out of the water in similar circumstances.

Given the fact that you took what you leaned in that trading contest and applied it into real trading profits going from 200K to 1.6 million in six weeks, I can understand your confidence, congrats.

I don’t trade futures, but maybe some day I’ll give it a whirl.

Regards,
LG
