This is a guerrilla war and it needs to be jointly addressed by the military, the special forces and local law enforcement. The military hawks in the Bush Administration do not get it.

The US military was very effective when they new that Saddam was their target. Militaries are typically successful in such situations.

But now, I am told there is no Zarqawi guy as such. Instead he is a fictitous figure behind whom the Iraqis rally for their pride.
