Steve Pitkin sounds right. At any rate, he spoke at the "Kerry Lied" rally by the Capitol and I am relaying his own words. He said that the VVAW asked him to talk about atrocities and he said he did not see any. Kerry demanded that he must have seen some, and he said no. Then someone told him "you know, it's a long walk back to Baltimore" so he made something up. He says it's on the Winter Soldier website. I am on a break from a class and using dialup, so don't have capacity to research.
